It's no secret — we LOVE Knuffle Kid — and this season is our favourite yet! A sweet top for a boy or girl with lovely button detailing. Perfect with the woodcutter shorts.
Designer, Emma Strysbosch's new collection is loosely based around the fable Hansel and Gretel. Not the weird-children-eating-old-witch bit of Hansel and Gretel. But the bit about siblings hanging in the forest together, climbing tree's, imagining edible houses, getting lost and then becoming found again. The colour palette is a mix of teal, rose, pink, greens and charcoal. In spots, stripes and the Knuffle Kid topography print on organic jersey. Adorable "lolly pop" shorts and "Gretel" skirt with strap's, gingham "grimm" shirt and the spotty "sister" dress are only a few that make up the range. Beautiful Australian made lace trims the garments, along with red detail stitching, pleats and gathers.
Knuffle Kid was born in 2008 when its creator put her little sewing machine into overdrive and took the plunge from merely handmaking clothes for her own two children, to produce a range of kids clothes that will set any child apart from the crowd.
